Description

This Module 3: Data Breach Management Plan guides users through assessing and managing a data breach. It meets the requirements of the Data Breach Notification Scheme in accordance with Australian Privacy Law. It:

• sets out how to investigate and evaluate a potential data beach;
• defines “eligible data breach”
• sets out when and how remedial action can reduce risk of harm; and
• advises users how to fulfil the notification requirements under the Act.
