Find Tender Opportunities
Government agencies and large companies source a variety of the products and services they require through tenders and contracts.
If your business is wanting to grow, the tender links below may provide you with a good place to start searching for new opportunities.
Federal Government
The Australian Government’s AusTenders website is a centralised publication of Australian Government business opportunities, annual procurement plans and contracts awarded. You can either manually search periodically or register to be notified of new opportunities that fit your search criteria.
For digital products and services, the Australian Government provides a platform for all federal, state and local government opportunities via their Digital Marketplace.
State Government
In addition, each state and territory government has its own agency responsible for tenders and contracts. This is suitable for businesses looking for state-specific contracts as opposed to nationwide opportunities. If you wish to apply for tenders in multiple states, you’ll need to register with each state individually.
- Australian Capital Territory: ACT Tenders
- NSW: NSW eTenders
- Northern Territory: NTGov Tenders
- Queensland: QTenders
- South Australia: SA Tenders and Contracts
- Tasmania: Tasmanian Government Tenders
- Victoria: TendersVic

Local Government
Many councils advertise procurement opportunities on their individual websites. The following are also worth investigating, in addition to the state and federal websites listed above..

- NSW: eTendering

- South Australia: LGA Procurement, Current Tender Opportunities

The ACT does not have a separate local government tier, tender opportunities are published through the ACT Government (see State Government above).
