What is an ICT?
ICT is the acronym for ‘Information & Communication Technology’ and is often used as a broader term for Information Technology (IT). However, this is not entirely accurate.
IT is a broad range of technologies focused on computing, operating systems, data storage and networks, where as ICT’s are much broader and include all communication technologies (incl. internet, wireless & mobile networks, mobile & personal devices, computers, software, video-conferencing, social & other media applications in addition to the services that enable users to access, retrieve, store, transmit, and manipulate information in digital forms.
