An Audit and Gap Analysis is an independent systematic examination and assessment of a current situation for the purpose of identifying the differences between it and the desired outcome or unmet need.
This document not only presents and analyses the results, but also provides recommendations that address the gaps identified during the audit process.
Items that may be audited on regional basis include:
- Workforce skills
- Resources (such as information, education, business & technical support tools etc.)
- Housing
- Services (eg. community, health, childcare etc.)
- Markets
Independent regional audit’s and gap analysis’s are often used by governments, advocacy groups, industry bodies etc. to assess where gaps exist and how best to rectify them. This may then be used to support service proposals and funding/tender applications.
Much of our client consultation is commercially sensitive and therefore not publicly available. However, below is a link to the Inland Burnett Agricultural Resource Audit & Gap Analysis completed by one of our directors.
